Marwa, founder and president of the UC Habibi Club, recently shared insights into the vibrant new student society at the University of Canberra. Open to all students interested in Arab culture, the club aims to foster community through inclusive events like trivia nights, belly dancing, movie evenings, and sports activities. With 27 paid members already on board and strong early interest, Marwa is optimistic about the club’s growth. Inspired by the Latin American Student Association, she saw a need for a space celebrating Arab heritage and took the initiative to create it.
