This week on The Wrap Up, we welcomed Atulya from the UC Student Representative Council (SRC), the university’s only elected student body. The SRC plays a vital role in amplifying student voices through consultation, accountability, and evolution—whether it’s through surveys, polls, or town halls. Atulia, an international student herself, joined the SRC to ensure her community felt seen and heard, saying, “My whole motivation to join SRC was to represent the international student community.”

From tackling issues like budget cuts to improving campus engagement, the SRC is committed to making student life more connected and inclusive. With plans to expand media outreach and host more faculty-based events, Atulya encourages all students to get involved.
