Jonathan, the inaugural president of the newly established UC Design Club, joins The Wrap Up to share how the club is creating a space for design and art enthusiasts at the University of Canberra. The idea came from a group of students who realized they only connected in class and wanted a place to collaborate outside of coursework. With support from UCLifex, the club is now up and running, attracting strong interest from students across different disciplines.

The UC Design Club hosts weekly creative workshops, including drawing swaps, sticker making, and paint-and-sip sessions, with bigger plans for competitions and potential design-related tours in the future. Open to all students—not just those studying design—the club offers an affordable $5 membership and a welcoming space for anyone interested in arts, crafts, and creativity. Students can join via the membership link on their Instagram or by attending a session to get involved in the fun.
