With almost 40 years of experience in the disability sector, Professor Patsie Frawley has taken up a new role at the University of Canberra as its first Professor of Disability and Community Health.
She is helping shape two new Graduate Certificates in disability leadership, strategy, policy and advocacy, arriving at a pivotal time for the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
For Professor Frawley, creating a truly inclusive society means ensuring disability rights and representation are reflected across education, health, workplaces and communities.
She joined The Wrap Up to discuss her recent appointment, the future of disability leadership, and the change she hopes to drive through her work at UC.
