The Real Radio Show hosts Tash and Hannah swapped the studio for sketch pads this week, jumping into life drawing for the latest edition of Hobby Hunters. Surrounded by artists and hobbyists, they quickly learned that life drawing isn’t about stressing over perfect proportions. Instead, it’s about strong shapes, loose gestures, and responding to how the model feels in the moment, something the artists they spoke to were passionate about. Letting go of the fine details turned out to be half the fun.

One of the biggest takeaways? Just start. Whether you’re returning to art after a long break or picking it up for the first time, life drawing is meant to be relaxed, creative, and personal; no grades, no pressure.
