Local artist Isy Cappo is making waves with her genre-blending sound that fuses R&B and dance-pop, all wrapped in raw storytelling and vibrant production. Ahead of her debut EP Somewhere in the Lost and Found, dropping August 22, Isy reflects on her five-year journey as an independent musician, shaped by global songwriting retreats in Bali, Cabo, and soon Italy. Her music is deeply personal, drawing from her Australian-Italian heritage and life experiences, with tracks like “High” and “Skimming the Surface” capturing emotional highs and lows. “I’ve been somewhere, and I’ve been lost,” she says, “but I’ve been finding myself at the same time through my music.” You can stream her music and follow her journey on all platforms under Isy Cappo.
